In Búzios there are beside hotels and the so-called Pousadas of course plenty of hostels. The best known are the El Misti Yellow Hostel and the Che Lagarto Hostel Buzios, which is due to the notoriety of the brand in South America. The Che Lagarto hostel is quite centrally located at the edge of downtown, in a quiet side street (dead end) and is usually fully booked because known and inexpensive. The El Misti Yellow Hostel is a little denzentral, but nothing makes, because you already almost always need a means of transportation, if you want to explore the peninsula.
